Science teacher and popular science blogger Humphrey Jones gave a talk at the Irish Science Teachers’ Association conference at the weekend about the use of iPad applications in the science classroom.
Don’t worry if you missed his presentation – on Frogblog.ie he has listed 20 top apps.
“Some of the these apps are specifically science focused, others are aimed at teachers and students, while some apps are simply brilliant and deserve a mention,” he says.
Most of the apps are free, and they aren’t just for iPads – the list also includes some “that have associated websites or can be used on iPhones, PCs or Macs”.
