To celebrate the launch of its new website, STEPS.ie is running a competition for secondary school students. The first prize is two Apple iPads – one for the winning student and one for his or her teacher.
STEPS.ie aims is to highlight the importance and wide range of careers that are available in the engineering industry.
As you will see from the website, engineers use their scientific expertise to creatively solve a range of problems. Engineers have demanding and rewarding roles for some of the best-known employers in the world including Diageo, Intel, Boston Scientific and Google.
To enter, visit the iPad competition page on STEPS.ie and answer three simple questions. The competition is open until 24 October 2011.
