To promote the Xperience Engineering 2012 project, STEPS.ie is running a competition for primary school teachers.
Xperience is an initiative open to primary schools and aims to give students the chance to learn about science by submitting fun and creative projects. The initiative focuses on a different theme each year and participating schools have five months to develop their idea.
To encourage participation, groups registering by 21 October 2011 will have a chance to win a Creative Vado HD pocket camcorder. These ultra-slim devices capture HD videos and photographs, come with 8GB of memory, 2X digital zoom and up to two hours of recording battery life.
