Our free application “Space Brains”, which was designed to promote Science Week 2010, has won the Best Gaming App award at this year’s Appys.
The Appys, now in its second year, aims to showcase the work of some of the brightest talents developing applications for smartphones and tablet devices in Ireland.
Last year, Discover Science & Engineering teamed up with Armagh Planetarium and CIT Blackrock Castle Observatory to create 1,000 questions for the Space Brains quiz. The app, which also includes mini-games, trivia, hangman and other features, was then developed by Rewind Software.
