Seven schools from the south of Ireland recently completed research projects using data logging equipment and presented them in University College Cork as part of the Sensors in Transition initiative.
Each team delivered a PowerPoint presentation of their results. The topics included varying temperatures in fridge compartments and sensor technology in Formula One.
Coláiste an Spioraid Naoimh, from Bishopstown in Cork, won the competition with their project on how to get greater distance with a golf drive.
