You could be in with a chance to win a trip to the European Space Agency as part of this year’s Engineers Week.
Each participant at an Engineers Week event will be given an entry form for the competition.
A winner will be chosen from each event and will receive an exclusive Engineers Week T-shirt.
They will also be entered into the draw to win the prize of a trip to Space Expo, the European Space Agency’s visitors’ centre in the Netherlands.
The prize for four includes travel and two nights’ B&B. The winner and three guests not only get the chance to dress like astronauts but will:
- Experience the simulated launch of an Ariane rocket
- Explore the world of satellites with test models of European space missions
- Understand and perform some of the training astronauts must go through before they leave for a space mission
- Discover what it was like for the first men on the Moon
- Experience how astronauts live and work in space
