Junior Achiever Ireland logoMore than 600 primary school pupils across Ireland will be taking part in this year’s Challenge Science initiative.

The programme aims to excite and educate children about the world of science and engineering and get them thinking about a career in these fields.

The programme is organised by Junior Achievement Ireland and Accenture. Junior Achievement Ireland is currently working with 500 primary and secondary schools throughout the country and this figure continues to grow each year.

Roadshows

Challenge Science also has roadshows in which you can learn about what it’s like to work in various scientific areas, for example as a biotechnologist, an astronaut, a forensic scientist or a nutritionist.

Students are taken into third-level colleges and are introduced to science in a practical and imaginative way.
