On the morning of 12 March between 10.00 am and 12 noon a number of short immunology lectures, directly relevant to the Leaving Certificate curriculum, are being organized in association with the Irish Society for Immunology. Each of the four 30 minute lectures will focus on how our body seeks and destroys invaders.
Topics addressed will include the role and function of the immune system, viruses and allergies. Advance booking is essential and admission is €3 per student. Full details of the event can be found on the RDS website.
