Tyndall 2010
The annual Tyndall Lecture on Physics for Schools will take place in the RDS on 1 February 2010.
The lecture by Dr Cathal Flynn from the School of Physics at Dublin Institute of Technology will include some action-packed demonstrations that you can make yourself – using easily available items such as drink cans, spoons, beach balls and metre sticks.
The topics covered include balance and forces, sound and music, heat, electricity and optics. The event is aimed at students in Transition Year and above.
