Dr Cormac O’Raifeartaigh will present a physics lecture aimed at senior secondary school students on Thursday, 2 February 2012.
The RDS hosts the annual lecture series in honour of physicist John Tyndall. This year the subject is the Big Bang.
The lecture will give students an overview of the Big Bang theory and examine the evidence behind it. The event is free, but booking is essential. Visit the RDS website to find out more.
