If it’s your first time to add a Science Week event, simply sign up in the "Events" section - it only takes a few seconds - or sign in on the same page if you are already registered.
Whether you are organising an event in a school, library or college, we have plenty of resources to help you to get the most out of your event. These resources include:
- Downloadable posters
- Science Week logos
- FAQs on any general questions and how to upload events and photos to the website
- A sample press release that you can use for your local media
- A sample exit survey to get feedback from people attending your event and evaluate its success
- The roadshows database, with full contact details and descriptions of performers that you may wish to bring to your venue
The Primary Schools and Secondary Schools resource sections of this website have activity sheets that you can print off and use during your event and in classroom activities. These may be helpful if you are looking for ideas for schools-based events.
The Royal Society of Chemistry's Regional Co-ordinator for Ireland also has resources for chemistry teachers and students, and the Institute of Physics in Ireland has resources for physics student and teachers.
